What gospel or good news did Abraham believe to receive justification by faith?
"And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed."
Galatians 3:8.
Notice it was not the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, that Christ died for his sins. There is more than one gospel in the bible. Right division allows us to determine which good news is written to whom. Covenant theology fails by saying there is only one gospel from Genesis to Revelation.
